Your written quote specifies which tasks are included. These may include:

• Website review: Review installed WordPress, theme, and plugin versions and identify maintenance requirements.
• Pre-update backup: Create a backup of the agreed website files and database before making changes.
• Software updates: Apply agreed WordPress, theme, and plugin updates where compatibility and valid licenses permit.
• Staging checks: Test agreed changes on a staging environment where available and included.
• Functionality checks: Review selected pages, navigation, forms, and other agreed functions after maintenance.
• Basic housekeeping: Perform specifically approved cleanup tasks within the quoted scope.
• Maintenance summary: Document completed changes, deferred updates, and recommendations.

3. Approve the quote: Review the service fee, estimated schedule, and included checks before payment.

5. Complete the work: Apply approved changes and perform the included checks.
6. Receive your summary: Review the work completed and any items that need separate attention.

What We Need From You

• Details of critical functions, such as checkout, bookings, forms, or memberships.
• Appropriate WordPress and hosting access through an agreed secure method.
• Valid licenses for any premium themes or plugins requiring updates.
• Information about existing backups and staging environments.
• Your preferred maintenance window and any important business dates.

Please let us know about custom code, modified theme files, or previous compatibility problems before work begins.

Backups and Recovery Arrangements

Your quote specifies the backup scope, storage location, retention period, and whether a restoration test is included.

Creating a backup is not the same as testing a complete restoration. Any limitations affecting backup creation or recovery will be communicated before proceeding with the affected work.

This service does not include ongoing backup storage or automated backup management unless expressly stated in your quote.

Updates and Compatibility

Updates may behave differently depending on your hosting environment, customizations, and other installed software.

If an update appears incompatible or requires work beyond the agreed scope, we may defer it and explain the issue. Plugin replacement, custom code changes, and major version migrations require separate approval and pricing.

Any rollback is handled according to the agreed recovery plan. On transactional websites, restoring an older database can affect recent orders or other new records, so recovery actions must account for this before proceeding.

Website Checks

The quote lists the pages and functions to be checked. These checks are limited to the agreed scope and do not constitute a complete audit of every website feature.

If checkout testing is included, the test method is agreed in advance. Live charges or customer communications are not initiated without your authorization.

• Extensive performance optimization or database repair.
• Content editing, product uploads, or SEO campaigns.
• Premium software licenses, hosting fees, and external storage charges.

Additional work is quoted separately and requires your approval before it begins.

Scheduling and Service Limits

The maintenance window and estimated duration are confirmed before purchase. Some tasks may require temporary restrictions on website use or a brief maintenance period, which will be discussed in advance.

This service does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete security, or compatibility with future software releases.

Pricing and Renewal

Your quote identifies the service fee, currency, applicable taxes, payment terms, and included tasks.

There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge. A future maintenance session requires a new booking or separate agreement.

Hosting, domain registration, and third-party subscriptions remain separate and follow their providers’ billing arrangements.
